Quality assurance of agricultural products through improved metrological and testing services

Ghana has experienced increasing growth, yet a third of the population lives in poverty, especially in rural areas. Agriculture suffers from low productivity and losses in the value chain. The present project, which is part of the Market Oriented Agriculture Programme (MOAP), aims to improve the quality of agricultural products by setting up testing and measuring laboratories, supporting accreditation and consolidating the quality infrastructure.

Triangular cooperation for natural gas measurement in Latin America

The goal of the project is to contribute to the harmonization and market transparency of the natural gas market and to improve consumer protection through increased regional cooperation and promotion of the technical competence of the metrology institutes. A triangular cooperation with Mexico and Brazil will be used to transfer existing know-how to less advanced countries.
