Support to Mongolia’s Quality Infrastructure with particular regard to the energy sector

Strengthening Quality Assuring Services for the Drinking Water and the Wastewater Sector

The project objective is to strengthen the national quality infrastructure and thus be able to offer services that contribute to the reliability of consumption measurements and quality analyses for drinking water and wastewater. Three outputs are defined: 1. Laboratories and the national metrology laboratory improve their measurement capabilities, 2. The accreditation body strengthens its capacities, 3. Wastewater standards are developed.

Regional Circular Economy

This project encourages the cooperation of regional quality infrastructure organizations, namely the Pan American Standards Commission (COPANT), the Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC) and the Inter-American Metrology System (SIM) along with their national members in the field of the circular economy. They will strengthen their technical competencies, and also stakeholders of the circular economy will be sensitized to the benefits of quality infrastructure.

Strengthening Quality Infrastructure in Sri Lanka II

Developing expertise in quality assurance for the export sector II

The aim is to ensure that companies have access to needs-based QI services and personnel for export to the EU. Output 1 promotes the development of technical regulations.
